Increasing socio-economic, technological and cultural complexities require skilled legal practitioners with an integrated and sophisticated understanding of the theories, concepts and practices of justice that determine the rule of law. A Master of Legal and Judicial Studies allows you to do work involving law and regulation without committing to a full law degree.
Organizations are framed by laws all the time. All professions have legal elements that influence them. This degree is suitable for individuals who want to integrate knowledge of law, regulation and compliance into their workplace. Companies are always looking for people who can speak the language of both business and legal compliance, particularly in the fields of technology where the regulation of emerging technology is fast growing.
By studying the theoretical and practical legal and judicial issues of law, you will be equipped with the knowledge and a basic skill set to practice legal and judicial work across various disciplines within the social and cultural context of the United Arab Emirates. The program represents the vital field in which legal practitioners, judges, prosecutors, and lawyers carry out their work and perform their mission.
The curriculum includes core courses, course electives that will give you the opportunity to delve deeper into areas of particular interest, and a research component that will positively impact your academic performance, cognitive skills and intellectual growth.

The program is ideal for job seekers with bachelor's degrees who want to enter the workforce after graduation. The program is also designed for mid-career professionals who want to make a career change, use the degree for career advancement, enhance their skills in their current positions or pursue a doctoral degree.
Admission is open to males and females of all nationalities. Applicants must have earned a four-year baccalaureate degree with a CGPA of 3.0 or higher from an accredited university in one of the following areas:
▪ Law, or
▪ Sharia and Law, or
▪ Police + Law.
Applicants must also demonstrate sufficient Arabic and English proficiency to manage a challenging, fast-paced graduate program.
The Master of Legal and Judicial Studies prepares graduates for careers in public and private sector organizations such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Judicial Department, private law firms and universities. Career options include diplomatic attachés or consular officers, legal administrators, lawyers, judges, prosecutors or public notaries, arbitrators, advocates, and legal instructors.
